The protection of your privacy and personal data is an important issue that we give attention to in all our business relationships. We respect the confidentiality of your personal data and we always act in compliance with the Data Protection Act and this Policy notice.
Pursuant to and for the effects of art. 13 of Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament (GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation), FAR Polymers s.r.l. (Hereinafter also the "Company" or "FAR Polymers") informs you that any personal information you have voluntarily made available to FAR Polymers, will be processed in compliance with current legislation on personal data protection.
Data controller
The data controller is FAR Polymers s.r.l., in the person of its legal representative, with its registered office in Viale delle Industrie, 8/14 – 24040 Filago (BG).

Purposes and legal basis of the processing
The company name as well as the personal data and identification of the contact person who will interface with our company, which you have made available to FAR Polymers will be treated within the limits strictly
necessary to pursue the following purposes:
1. Contractual purposes
•Fulfill your requests for information, also occurred by simply filling out a Form on the Site.
• Provide the service and, in general, fulfill the obligations arising from the contract.
The legal base for the data processing is the execution of the contract involving you.
2. Fulfilment of administrative obligations purposes
• Execute the obligations, such as the internal administration
(financial management, receivables collection, execution of payments)
• Execute the obligations, such as Tax and accounting obligations
The legal base for the data processing is the necessity to fulfill an obligation imposed by law.
3. Marketing purposes
• Send information or promotions, such as, for example, newsletters, advertising material and to advertise products and services, even customized both with traditional contact methods (email paper, calls through the operator) and automated (electronic mail) by FAR Polymers. The legal base for the data processing is your consent, optional and revocable at any time.
4. Safety work purpose, pursuant to the D.lgs. 81/2008.
• With particular reference to the identification data freely given by the visitor to our offices (name, surname, institution or company of belonging), the treatment has the exclusive purpose of ensuring compliance with corporate security procedures and applied, even pursuant to the current regulations (eg registration in the visitors' register, assignment of temporary identification badges, applications of legal obligations relating to safety at work).
The legal base for the data processing is the necessity to fulfill an obligation imposed by law.


 


Retention period
The data collected to fulfill your requests for information, will be stored for a maximum period of 24 months.
The data collected to provide the Service requested and to fulfill obligations imposed by law will be kept for the contractual duration and, after termination, for the ordinary limitation period of 10 years.
For marketing purposes, data collected relating to purchases will be stored for a maximum period of 24 months. For safety work purposes, data collected relating to purchases will be stored for a maximum period imposed by law.
Personal data, devoid of references to purchases, can be kept for no longer than 24 months and as long as the person concerned does not require the deletion. Once the aforementioned retention period has lapsed data will be destroyed or made anonymous compatibly with technical erasure and backup procedures.
Provision of data and impact of a refusal
With reference to the purposes outlined in point “contractual purposes”, and fulfilment of “administrative obligations purposes” and “safety work purposes”, the provision of your personal data is necessary. Your refusal and/or provision of incorrect and/or incomplete information may prevent us from delivering the activities therein.
With reference to the additional purposes outlined in paragraph “marketing Purposes”, the provision of your personal data is optional. However, your refusal and/or provision of incorrect and/or incomplete information could prevent the operation of your request and the provision of the marketing service.
Where we process data
The personal data of the interested party are stored in paper and digital archives located in countries where the GDPR (EU countries) is applied. These data will not be transferred abroad to non-EU countries.
Data Communications
Data may be processed by employees of FAR Polymers who are responsible for carrying out the activities outlined above and have been authorized to process the data and have received suitable operating instructions. Your personal data may be processed to third parties which provide the Company with assistance and services used for the purposes mentioned above (such as, but not limited to suppliers, partners, consultants or other persons and/or entities, including Dealers and Agents connected contractually
to FAR Polymers) which have been appointed as data processor and, on behalf of FAR Polymers.
Your personal data may also be communicated to third parties which act as data controller, such as e.g. supervisory and regulatory authorities and, more generally, public or private entities, legally authorized to requests data.
Rights of data subject and complaint to the Supervisory Authority
You are recognized and guaranteed the full right to: ask the Data Controller for access to personal data and the correction or deletion of the same or the limitation of the processing that concern them or to oppose their treatment, in addition to the right to the portability of data.
This right can be exercised by contacting the Company by e-mail at privacy@farpolymers.com , the Data
Controller will interrupt the processing within 30 days from the date of receipt of a notice of revocation of the previously expressed consent, without prejudice to the mandatory obligations provided for by the
legislation in force at the time of the request for revocation. The interested party has the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority in the event that their requests for information addressed to the Data Controller have not given satisfactory answers. The reference Authority is the Guarantor for the protection of personal data.
